The New Paradigm of Earth Retaining
Construction with PS-S

The construction of temporary Earth Retaining Structure is a process of installing temporary structures that can prevent ground collapse, resist against earth pressure and water pressure by setting up supports for safe excavation work. It is an important stage of the entire construction period, since the period is mainly mattered with this operation. In particular, it accounts for more than 5% of total construction costs.

Gaurian has developed Earth Retaining Method called PS-S, with Prestressed Wale and HSS Strut, for giving the new wave to the field. With that, we do the service of designing by customer’s need, constructing as the design, and even leasing the structures to the customer directly.

PS-S, certified as a New Construction Technology based on great constructability, economic efficiency and stability compared with other technology, has been successfully applying to all around the construction sites in Korea. Especially, its easy application by bolting on the structure is welcomed by the operators.
